The group’s members are graduates of top Music Conservatories including Eastman and Julliard and are among the finest full-time musicians in the area. They regularly perform with ensembles including the St. Louis Symphony, the Bach Society of St. Louis, the St. Louis Chamber Orchestra, the Illinois Symphony, and at the Fox Theater. The group was originally founded by four distinguished, regional musicians, including Dee Sparks, Principal Owner & Violist. We currently have 15-20 musicians who perform regularly in the Rosewood Ensemble.

The group is truly an all-occasion ensemble, from weddings and receptions, church music and parties, to everything in between. Additionally, the Rosewood Ensemble is available in various shapes and sizes, from the traditional string quartet, trio, duo or solo instrument (violin, harp or piano, for example) to our newest ensembles: the quintet with added string bass or piano. We can add a vocalist or other instruments (trumpet, harp, piano or organ) as well. The Rosewood Ensemble can meet all of your musical needs!

The Rosewood Ensemble is renowned for its wide and versatile repertoire, suitable for a variety of occasions. It is all-encompassing – ranging from the likes of Coldplay and the Beatles, to jazz and traditional standards, Broadway and movie tunes, as well as an enormous variety of classical pieces. This means you can choose the songs and pieces YOU would like to hear at your event. We will help you choose the songs and pieces of music that best express the vision you have for your wedding or event. We can customize music for ANY occasion, and if you need music not in our current repertoire, we can arrange it for you.

Rosewood Ensemble Members are graduates some of the top music conservatories, and regularly perform at prestigious, well-known St. Louis venues.
